The story was created as a result of a fellow author, Suzie Grogan who lives in Huelgoat. Having read the Itchybald Scratchet books, Suzie thought it would be nice to write a story about the area where she lives. The main character was inspired when a mouse appeared on a bird table in Sue’s garden and Madam Mous-Elle was born!!
